Above is a map of the existing road system in Batangas circa 1914 as created by the Bureau of Public Works under the American colonial government in the Philippines. The map is extracted from the July 1914 edition of the Bureau of Public Works Quarterly Bulletin.

In the map is indicated first, second and third class roads in existence at the time of the publication as well as roads under construction by the bureau.
